We are a small painting contractor looking for a bookkeeper – either as an employee or an independent contractor. We prefer someone to come into the office as opposed to working remotely, although working remotely part of the time may be possible. Responsibilities would include accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank deposits and coordination with payroll service and CPA. Must have experience in the construction industry and knowledge of construction billing, lien waivers, schedule of values billing, change order billing. Must be proficient in Quickbooks Online, MS Word and MS Excel. We are hoping bookkeeper would also consider providing some administrative assistance as well such as filing, insurance, organization of paper/digital files, opening mail, calling in payroll, etc.
